Rosa Espinosa-Marzal
Rosa Espinosa-Marzal is the Ivan Racheff Professor of Environmental Engineering and a Donald Biggar Willett Faculty Scholar, with dual appointments in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She holds affiliate appointments with the Materials Research Laboratory and the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology.
Rosa’s materials engineering research sees a wide variety of applications, from, in recent years, addressing osteoarthritis, tissue engineering, coral reef restoration, and improving sodium-ion batteries for better energy storage.
