Rachel Berry is an award-winning visual storyteller and Digital Media Coordinator in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As filmmaker of the Reef Rebirth series, she spent nearly a year collecting interviews and collaborating with researchers and artists across campus to weave together a story of hope, resilience, and the power of science. Rachel holds an MBA from the Gies College of Business. She dedicates this project to her mother, Linda, who lost her battle with cancer shortly after the series was completed.
